Environmental Charities

A range of environmental charities exist to protect natural environments and resources. Their missions include, but are not limited to: • Keeping the oceans clean • Preserving the rainforests • Limiting air, soil and water pollution • Promoting recycling • Lowering emissions • Developing and/or preserving green spaces • Finding alternative fuel sources Some of the larger charities that have environmental causes as their primary mission are the Conservation Fund, The Conservation International Foundation, the Cousteau Society, the Sierra Club, and the Trust for Public Land.
